Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of Health authorities during a search of a home in Glengormley.

A guy was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently providing unlicensed impotence medicines by means of the .

The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offences.

He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The search was brought out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.

Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: "It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be dangerous.
